Bob Emmons to talk about Ticks

Bob, who taught integrated pest management courses in the Plant Science Department at The State University of New York for 31 years, will talk about deer ticks and their threat to Midcoast residents. Incidences of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases are becoming more prevalent. Bob will discuss factors that affect tick populations, their life history and avoidance techniques.

Larry Gowell is a celebrated baritone vocalist. He performs classic Jazz, Broadway hits, swing, pop, gospel and country. He has had concerts all over Maine, including the Franco American Center in Lewiston, Sawyer Memorial in Greene and the Poland Spring Summer Festival as well as hundreds of others. He has sung our National Anthem at a variety of special events including at Fenway Park on Maine Day.
